Coloring between the designated
lines, outside the lines or within your own
design is always a fun activity, no matter what
your age. We want to create our own mark,
reveal a bit of our personality or declare “Look
what I did!” Kites...on a Roll® products
encourage
you to do all of this: inside, outside, all around the lines. And we have
found several websites that help you create a
kite coloring activity. Check out the list in
Hints for an Easier Activity.

workshops, library displays, etc.) can be
registered for free event posting.
Hints for an Easier Activity
Crayola has replaced its
Construction Paper Crayons with a NEW product
called Poster Crayon. It is a bit thicker and
longer, but has the same intense colors--great
for the Sled and Malay kite kits.
Eight (8) crayons come in a box. The company
also carries non-washable markers, but the box
has no descriptive tag. Look for
their markers that do not say washable.
Since our patterns are printed
on a translucent plastic, tracings can be placed
under the sail. This is especially good if
kiteflyers can’t think of what images they want
to place on their kites. These sites have good
kite coloring pages to print that can be
decorated as an activity or placed under the
patterns for tracing:

There are 3 coloring pages from the National
Kite Month site, and they relate to kite safety.
